The college of Business and Economics is a strategy-driven enterprise. Our strategy was developed by our faculty, staff, students and community and it reflects a strong understanding of where we are, where we want to go and how we plan to get there. For a high-level overview of the COBE strategy, please click here. As you walk the halls of the Micron Building, you will see, on nearly every wall and conference table, a visual reminder of our strategy, which is reflected in our core values, our “dream,” our goals and our quests (see below). As we worked together to successfully implement this strategy, we discovered that we had additional collective work that needed to be undertaken in order to intentionally and collectively set the current and aspirational state of our college’s culture. In short, the college’s strategy has been very successful and it is now being reviewed and reconsidered as the first phase of this strategy has largely been completed. The upcoming update to our strategy will include a much strong focus on the development of department/unit strategies that tie into and support both our college’s and our university’s strategies.
